The Lady Tigers hosted North Shelby Thursday night for softball. It proved to be a tough night for Brashear as North Shelby scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning to take a lead they wouldn't surrender on their way to a 12-1 win in 5 innings. Brashear's lone run came in the bottom of the second as Alexa Higgins exhibited some heads up base running and stole home. Tanna Garlock had 2 hits for Brashear, with Kynleigh White, Aubrey Bleything, Alexa Higgins, and Callie Althide also having hits. Atalie Hagan took the loss, striking out 6. Brashear won the JV game by a score of 3-1.
